  I'm not sure why I need to be on hold when I choose the option to hear my AUTOMATED account balance. I also sat on hold for over 20 min trying to set up my account over the phone; I ended up having to call back and finally someone answered. When I set up my account I was told I need to place a deposit because I am listed as a "renter", I let the person know I own the house and instead of offering to fix it she just kept telling me that I am listed as a renter. After going back and forth for several mintues she finally said she can fix it, no paperwork needed. I could have saved a lot of time if she had just done that in the first place. I would suggest having the employees there take a course/ be trained in customer service, because it is seriously lacking!

  There is an SJWD water station at the corner of our home's lot on Highway 357 in Lyman. We have been allowing their trucks to use our yard for overflow parking because their plot of land is too small to accommodate their usage. We finally had to put a chain barrier to protect our trees from them running them over. That did not go over well with them because according to them "we've always been able to use your land for parking." We spoke with Mike Frost and offered to let them continue to park on our land if they'd just put up a privacy fence to block the view of constant traffic. They declined and said they'd just stay on their line. Since then, they have backed their trucks into our barrier chain and become extremely confrontational (Mike Frost in particular). The most recent instance has been the result of us reporting suspicious activity from non SJWD cars parking there late at night and until noon or later. Mike Frost (an SJWD manager) yelled and got in our face when the police department came to investigate the suspicious abandoned car still parked in their lot. His conduct was extremely unprofessional. He basically told the police officer he was OK with the car being there (to spite us). Now, we have random cars parking in that spot (in front of our house) possibly scoping us out or looking for something to steal. As with some of the other posters on here, we can't seem to speak to the right person to get anything resolved.
